Job Description: CornFed Concrete Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and excellent benefits. The Senior Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for estimating and managing concrete projects from inception to completion. This position reports directly to our owner.

Job requirements


Responsibilities:

  1. Project Estimation:
    • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
    • Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
    • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to obtain competitive pricing and ensure accurate estimates.
    • Present and justify estimates to clients, project stakeholders, and senior management.
  2. Project Management:
    • Oversee all phases of concrete projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
    • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project quality, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preventative maintenance experience is preferred but not required.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction environment, with a strong preference for concrete project experience.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred.
