Job Description: CornFed Concrete Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and excellent benefits. The Senior Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for estimating and managing concrete projects from inception to completion. This position reports directly to our owner.
Job requirements
Responsibilities:
- Project Estimation:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to obtain competitive pricing and ensure accurate estimates.
- Present and justify estimates to clients, project stakeholders, and senior management.
- Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of concrete projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project quality, schedule, and budget.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preventative maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction environment, with a strong preference for concrete project experience.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred.
